Servopro has relaunched with the Simopedia to collate objective and concise information about The Sims 2. This includes information about aspirations, objects, needs, wants and anything else you can think of. Everyone is welcome to contribute, update or clarify to create this repository of Sims 2 information.

Please Note: There is an "IGC:" namespace for all In-Game Content. Please use this so that people can easily search for in-game content. To do this, put the namespace as a prefix with a colon. Eg. IGC:PatioPlastics Dining Chair. The "IGC" namespace refers to all items in Buy and Build mode (including wallpaper, flooring, ceiling), careers, any interchangable parts in Body Shop (skins, eyes, clothing). Programs and tools are not in-game content, and should remain in the main namespace. Generally, if its got a GUID, it's IGC.

At this time, please do not add any user-generated content(including objects, skins, wallpaper, roofs, sims...) except for Sims 2 programs and tools which are freely available. Any Sims 2 programs or tools that is not freeware, costs money, or otherwise not available to the public will be removed immediately.

All Maxis-generated content including objects that come with The Sims 2 or any of its expansion packs/mini packs, or available for download are welcome.
